Take‑away and food delivery are still relatively new in Spain. About two years ago you first saw Glovo scooters riding along Alicante’s Gran VĂa. Since the lockdown it’s all moved into high gear. Although it was forbidden to order and pick up food during the lockdown, it’s now possible in many places to enjoy the tastiest tapas and “arroces” paellas at home! Most beautiful finca in the area When you see this photo, it’s almost a shame to have the food delivered. It’s a gorgeous spot in the middle of the village of San Juan de Alicante. The food is truly fantastic. They deliver at Christmas in the Alicante region (El Campello, San Juan, Playa San Juan, and Alicante center). On December 24 and 25 they have a special Christmas menu .

The top spot in the middle of Alicante center Many tourists in Alicante now know how to find El Portal — and rightly so, the food is finger‑licking good! And the décor changes every time we visit. Unfortunately you can’t experience that if you choose this take‑away option .
