I have never played golf. Can I still book a lesson?

Yes. Half an hour is enough to find out whether the sport suits you. Luc teaches all levels, from a first introduction to working on your handicap. Children and young beginners are welcome too.

Do I need to bring my own golf clubs?

Accepted Answer

No, golf clubs are available to rent on site. Useful if you travel with hand luggage only, or simply want to find out whether the sport suits you. Just mention in your request that you need clubs.

Do I need a golf handicap certificate for a lesson?

Accepted Answer

No. You do not need a handicap certificate for a lesson. If you want to play the course yourself, most Spanish clubs do ask for a valid federation card or handicap certificate. Luc knows the rules and will help you.

Question 4

What does a golf lesson on the Costa Blanca cost?

Accepted Answer

A 30-minute lesson costs 30 euros, 60 minutes costs 60 euros. Book two lessons and the third is free. These rates are valid until 31 December 2026. Please mention that you found Luc through Alicante Like a Local.

Where are the golf lessons given?

At Villaitana near Benidorm, the golf course between the mountains and the sea. That is where Luc currently gives all his lessons.

In which language are the lessons?

Accepted Answer

Dutch or English, whichever you prefer. Luc is a Dutch golf professional (PGA) living on the Costa Blanca.

How soon will I hear back after my request?

I usually forward your request to Luc the same day. He responds within 24 hours and contacts you directly to discuss your question and schedule the lesson.
